Authorities Had Arrested A Couple Who Held A Wedding Reception By Violating Quarantine Laws At Habaraduwa

 Authorities had arrested a couple who held a wedding reception with nearly 1000 guests by violating quarantine laws ,at a house in  Duwamalalagama area ,Habaraduwa (Galle District .

Authorities had also arrested those suppliers who had supplied  food ,chairs and Tents for the wedding reception as well and later they along with the couple  were released on bail according to the Habaraduwa MOH Office .

Police had arrested the member of a musical band played at the wedding for violating police orders .

21 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (05)

 A total of 21 Corona deaths had  been reported in the country today (05) increasing the total number of deaths that had been reported so far to 14,461 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 14 males and 07 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 18 were over 60 years of age and 03 were belonged to the age group 30-60 years it has been revealed ,

746 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (05)

 Another 746 Corona Positives had been reported in the Country today (05) ,Increasing the total number of Corona Positives that had been reported so far to 567,682 according to Epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 10,895 Corona Positives are being treated at Quarantine Centers ,Hospitals and under Home Care System the Unit has stated ,

Ministry Of Power To Implement Island Wide Power Cuts From Today (04)

 The Ministry Of Power had decided to implement a minimum of One hour  long Island wide power cut for four days with effect from today (04).

This power cut will be imposed between 6 p.m to 9.30 p.m until restoring the power generating activity of the Norochcholai Coal Power plant which was broke down as a result of the Island wide blackout occurred yesterday (03) the Ministry has stated ,

The Norochcholai Coal power plant is generating a maximum of 900 Mega watts to the national power grid it has been revealed .
