Gas Shortage To Be Eased Within Next Few Days

 The Gas shortage in the country  will be eased soon after issuing of more than 300,000 metric tones of Gas to the local market within next few days according to the Litro Gas Company ,

A ship carrying imported stock of Gas ordered by the Litro Gas had already arrived in Colombo Harbor and that stock is due to be packed and issued to the market as soon as possible the Company has stated ,

Heavy queues had been seen in front of Gas agent shops in the Country today as well to collect Gas Cylinders it has been reported ,

745 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (19)

 A total of 745 Corona positives had been reported today (19) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 555,204 according to the Epidemiology Unit ,

Accordingly 15,207 Corona positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated ,

14 Corona Deaths Reported Today (19)

 Another 14 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (19) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 14,086 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 11 males and 03 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated ,Out of the deceased 11 were over 60 years of age and 03 were belonged to the age category 30-60 years ,

45 Indian Employees Attached To A Cement Plant Had Tested Positive For Corona Virus

 Around 45 Indian Employees attached to a newly constructed Cement plant in Hambanthota District  (Southern Province ) had been tested positive for Corona virus it has been reported ,

These employees were tested positive through the Rapid Antigen Tests performed on 50 Indian  employees of the plant according to Southern Provincial Health Director s office ,Around 480 Indian employees are being worked at the newly constructed cement plant .
