65 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Yesterday (23)

 A total of 65 Corona Deaths had bern reported in the country yesterday (23) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 2769 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .


Accordingly 40 males and 25 females resided in mostly outstation areas had died due to the Covid pneumonia and complications occurred due to the non communicable diseases they have suffered from as a result of Corona infection it has been reported .

Out of the deceased 53 were over 60 years old it has been revealed .

Travel Restrictions To Be Reimposed From 10 p n Tomorrow (23) For 30 Hours

 Government has decided to re impose the travel restrictions islandwide from 10 p m tomorrow night (23) until 4 a.m this Friday (25) with the aim of people's movement during the forthcoming poson Poya day (24) it has been announced .


Earlier government had  been lifted the islandwide travel restrictions imposed since 24 th of May last Sunday  Upto 05 th of July ,even the authorities had failed to control the current Corona wave .

2071 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (22)

 Another 2071 Corona positives had been reported today (22) in the country ,increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 243,891 according to National Covid 19 prevention Center .


At the moment 31,984 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and quarantine centers the center has stated .
