Sixteen Persons Had Died -Three Were Missing Due To The Adverse Weather Conditions

 Sixteen persons had died ,Three went missing and five persons injured  So far due to the adverse weather affected to 10 districts in the country according to the Disaster Management Center

.So far 270,912 persons throughout the island  are being  affected due to the adverse weather conditions the Center had stated .

 Kaduwela city near the exit point of Southern Expressway and many  low lying areas in kolonnawA  had  been submerged since last Saturday due to the overflowing of Kelani River it has been reported .Kaduwela city is the most affected area  due to the floods and many areas on the roadside had submerged Upto  the roof level according to reports .Kaduwela town is under three feets of water by  last evening (06) as a result of the overflowing of Kelani River  according to reports .

Due to this situation transport activities at Hanwella -Colombo low level road have been  halted from Kaduwela town 

46 Corona Deaths Were Reported Yesterday (06)

 A total of 46 Corona deaths had been reported in the country yesterday (06) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 1742 According to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 23 males and 23 females many resided in Outstation areas and Colombo 14,15,Kaduwela,Borella and Awissawella in Colombo district had died due to Covid Pneumonia and complications of non communicable diseases they have suffered as a result of Corona infection the Center has stated .

2976 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (06)

 Another 2976 Corona positives had been reported today (06), in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far. To 205,333 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center ..

At the moment 36,333 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and quarantine centers .

Ten Persons Died And. One Missing Due To Adverse Weather

 Ten persons including four members of  one family had died and 219,027 Persons are being affected. Due to adverse weather conditions including floods and earth slips occurred in the country s far according to Disaster Management Center .

Accordingly parents and two children at a house in Algama  ,Aranayake area has died after a soil mound collapsed on their house .

One person was missing due to the adverse  weather conditions it has been reported .

40 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (05)

 Another 40 Corona Deaths had been reported in the country today (05) Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported  so far to 1696 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 23 males and 17 females had died due to Covid Pneumonia ,Covid infection and complications of the non communicable diseases they. Have suffered from the Center has stated .09 of the deceased had died at home it has been. Revealed .
