Three Sri Lankans Received Oxford Corona Vaccine Died Due To Blood Clots-Health Minister

 Six Sri Lankans vaccinated with Oxford -AstraZeneca "Covishield "  Anti Corona vaccine had developed  blood clots and three of them had died due to it according to Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi .

Answering to a question raised by Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa at Parliament today ,Minister has stated that there"s  no evidence found to prove that there s a link between blood clots and Corona vaccines .

New Year Corona Cluster Is On The Making -516 Corona positives Had Been Reported Today (21)

 Another 516 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (21)Increasing the total numbet of Corona Positives reported so far to 98,050 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

At the moment 3752 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and quarantine centers .

Authorities had openly relaxed the Anti Corona restrictions during the Sinhala /Hindu New year  season and allowed people to move freely for  shopping and leisure trips afterwards .Even they have  reduced  the number of "PCR "tests conducted  daily to 4000-5000 .

Now the Health Authorities suddenly woke up.and requested the public to adhere to Anti Corona health guidelines to avoid the 03rd Corona wave which is on the way already .

Five Corona Deaths Reported Today (21)

 Five Corona deaths  had been reported in the country today (21) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 630 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly five males resided at Sevanagala ,Ja-ela,Kelsniya ,Ratnapura and Gampaha areas  had died due to Covid pneumonia and complications of the non Communicable diseases they have suffered from.the Center has stated .

The deceased were of the ages 75,80,66,57 and 39 years it has been revealed .

 Another 05 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (20) increasing the total.number of Corona deaths reported so far to 625 a cording to the National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly three females and two males  resided at Mattakkuliya ,Panadura ,Jaffna ,Ratnapura and Horana areas had died due to Covid Pneumonia and complications of the non communicable diseases they have suffered from.rhe Center had stated  

345 Corona Positives Reported Today (20)

 A total. Of 345 Corona positives had bern reported today (20) in the country  ,increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 97,472 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

At the moment 3305 Corona positives are being treated at government hospitals and quarantine centers .
