The explosion had been occurred when an employee of the shop attempting to cut a metal by using a gas lantern it has been reported .It is believed that the Gas lantern had exploded at that time .

Under the Corona vaccination process 923 ,954 Covishield vaccine doses out of the 1,264,000 vaccine doses received by the country had been administered up to now and little more then 330,000 vaccine doses are remained to administer .
The Serum institute in India had halted the exporting of Covishield vaccines to other countries soon after the Corona cases in the country began to surge and now Sri lanka is running out of Covishield vaccine doses to administer as the second dose for those who got the first vaccine dose due to the improper way of handling the Vaccination programme since the begining .
