 Another 260 Corona positives had been reported  yesterday (27), increasing the total numbet of Corona positives in the country to 91839 according to epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 2839  Corona positives. Are being treated at Government hospitals and quarantine centers the unit has stated .

Another Corona Death Had Been Reported Today (27)

 Another Corona death had been reported in the country today /(27),increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 559 according to National Covid-19 Prevention center  .

Accordingly a 82 year old person resided at Colombo -06 has died due to Heart ailment and Covid Pneumonia caused by Corona infection .The deceased had died at Mulleriyawa Teaching Hospital it has been revealed.

A Person Has Died Due To A Wild Elephant Attack

 A Wild Elephant had killed a 58 year. Old person at Aththanakadawala area in Polonnaruwa District whilst on the way his home this morning (27) it has been reported .

Accordingly the Wild Elephant had dragged away the deceased  50 meters away before killing him the sources have revealed .

Another Corona Death Had Been Reported Yesterday(26)

 Another Corona death had been reported in the country yesterday (26) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 558 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly  a 70 year old male resided at Mathugama ,Kalutara has died due to Heart ailment and Covid Pneumonia caused by Corona infection at Homagama Base Hospital He had been transferred to the hospital from.Kalutara district hospital .

Some Areas In Jaffna District Had Bern Locked Down Due To Surge In Corona Cases

 Few areas in Jaffna District had been locked down by the Health authorities after. Reporting 80 Corona positives from those areas the authorities have announced .

Accordingly few areas including  a part of Jaffna -Kamkasanrhurei road ,Main bus stand ,Main Market and Hospital road had been locked down since yesterday/(26).
