A Special Sri Lankan Airlines Flight Brought Back 289 Sri Lankans From.Six African Countries

A Special Sri Lankan Airlines flight
carrying  289 Sri lankans stranded in six African countries due to the corona pandamic had touched down Katunayake International Airport in wee hours of this morning (21).

These Sri lankans were employed in hotel sector in Tanzania ,Uganda,Madagascar  ,Ruwanda ,Kenya and Mozambique had been brought back from Tanzanian capital Dar Es Salam it has been revealed.

All the passangers and the Cabin crew of the flight had undergone "PCR " Tests at the Katunayake Airport and later they were transportrd to few hotels near the Airport untill receiving their test results .

Former LTTE Leader Karuna Amman Says He Is Dangerous Than Corona Virus

MP Vinayagamurthy Muralidaran allias Karuna Amman has told at a gathering held recently that he had killed 2000-3000 Army soldiers in one night at Elephant pass in Jaffna  when he was a LTTE Commander ,more than the lives claimed by Corona virus in Sri lanka.

Therefore Karuna Amman is a dangerous person than Corona virus he has stated.

He has further stated that Prime Minister Mahinda Rajspnkshe had  imvited him to enter Parliamamt through the National list,But he preferes to enter parliament  with peoples mandate at the forthcoming election .

Former Minister Baduideen Had Given A Five Hour Statement To CID

Former Minister Rishad Baduideen had
today (20) given a five hour statement to Criminal Investigations Department (CID) regarding an investigation related to an irregularity occurred during the importing of Rice to the country through lanka Sathosa Limited  in 2017.

The former Minister had arrived at the CID in.Colombo around 11.30 a.m and left the premises after giving five hour statement.
