Legal Action To Be Taken Against Corona Virus Positive Cheated Ragama Hospital Staff
A stern action will be taken against the
Corona Virus positive who had himself getting admitted to the Ragama Teaching Hospital hiding he has arrived from Italy and recieved treatment at a normal ward of the hospital according to Deputy Inspector General Of Police Ajith Rohana.
The corona virus positive had complained on a chest problem and admitted to Ragama Hospital it has been revealed .However he has not revealed that he had arrived from Italy.
As a result the hospital staff has given him treatment at a normal ward .however on the second day the patient has developed a cough and when the hospital staff questionEd on this from the Patients family members they have stated that he is arrived from Italy in early March .
Afterwards the patient was isolated and trelated it has been reported .
A case had been filed against this corona virus positive over purposely hiding his health status to the hospital staff in Ragama Hospital DIG Rohana has stressed .

Number Of Corona Virus Positives In Sri Lanka Increased To 70
Eleven new Corona virus positives had
been identified from Sri Lanka today (29) and with this numbed the total number of Corona virus positives identified in Sri Lanka has been increased to 70 according to Ministry Of Health.
Out of this number 39 postives are those who arrived from foreign countries mainly from Italy and 25 persons are infected with the virus after having contacts with them Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi has stated .
Around 218 persons suspected as infected with the virus are being treated in 13 government Hospitals including Infectious Diseases Hospital the Ministry has stated.
Meanwhile according to the latest statistics available majority of the Corona virus positives identified from Sri Lanka which is 45.2 percent belongs to 41-50 age group .
Sixty nine out of seventy corona virus positives reported so far from Sri Lanka are Sri Lankans and other patient was a Chinese female .
