A 24 Hour Long Watet Cut To Be Implemented In Kelaniya /Wattala/Mabole UC And Kelaniya /Biyagama PS Areas On Momday

Another 24 hour long water cut is

scheduled to be implemented in several areas belonging to Kelaniya ,Wattala and Mabole urban councils and Kelaniya and Biyagama Pradesheeya Sabhas from 8 a.m on next Monday (13)to 8 a.m on Tuesday (14) accordance to National Water supplies and drainage board .

This water cut will be implemented due to an essential construction work at the second phase of the Kelaniya River Bank water project the Water Board has announced .

STF Personal Had Arrested A Person With T-56 Firearm In Valachchanai

Special Task Force Personal (STF)in

Valachchanai had today (11)arrested a person with a T-56 fire arm ,27 live bullets and a Bullet cover in possession during a search operation carried out at Kurindinagar area in Valachchanai Police Division ,Batticaloa

The suspect had been arrested whilst carrying the fire arm and bullets to sell them to another person it has been revealed .

The suspect has told the STF Personal that he had recovered the firearm from a forest area .

STF Personsl had handed over the suspect along with the firearm and bullets to the Valachchanai Police fir further investigations .

Government Analyst's Department Has Begun An Investigations On Controversial Audio Clips Belonging To MP Ramanayake

Government Analyst Department has

begun an investigations on controversial audio clips belonging to MP Ranjan Ramanayake which are circulated in social media networks ,accordance to a court order.

Colombo Crimes division(CCD) had handed over the Compact dicss(CD'including so called telephone conversations which were recovered from MP Ramanayaka's official residence in Madiwela. CCD had also handed over the unlicensed pistol and bullets recovered from MP's house to rhe Governmenr Analyst.

Government Analyst's Department is scheduled to be handed over a detailed report on the CD"s , unlicensed Pistol and bullets revovered from MP Ramanayaka's residence to the court .

Meanwhile it has been revealed that a state minister in Kandy District of the present government was behind the steeling and releasing of the audio clips containing in CD"s belonging to MP Ramanayake .
