A Team Of Australian Medical Consultants Due To Arrive Sri Lanka To Investigate On Unknown Kidney Disease

A team of Australian Medical Consultants is due to

arrive in  Sri Lanka to investigate on the unknown Chronic Kidney Disease spreads in most parts of the country at present according to the project director of Presidential Task Force on Kidney Disease Prevention Asela Iddawela.

The Australian will be arrived in the country as per an invitation made by President Maithripala Sirisena he has stressed.

The Team of Consultants is due to begin investigations on spreading of Kidney Disease and prevention of it it has been reported.

The medical teams led by World Health Organization had launched several investigations recent times on the unknown Kidney Disease ,but still not able to reveal an exact cause of the disease.

Five Districts Received Landslide Warnings Due To The Rain

The National Building Research Organization(NBRO)

had issued landslide warnings to five districts in the island due to the heavy showers prevailing in .

Accordingly landslide warnings have been issued to the  Ratnapura,Nuwara Eliya,Matale,Kandy and Kegalle Districts .

Public in these districts should be vigilant over the landslide signs it has been announced.

Meanwhile two sluice gates of Canyon river had opened as a result of the heavy showers  and people in Ginigathhena area has been advised to be in vigilant over the situation.

A 28 Year Old Person Has Drowned in Chilaw Seas

A 28 year old Bus conducter had drowned in sea area

in Chilaw this evening (28) while in the beach with his friends.

The victim who was a resident of Kegalle area disappeared after getting caught in sea waves it has been revealed.

Chilaw Police are conducting an investigation on the incident .
