Wennappuwa Police Have Detained A Youth Who Had Been Sexually Molested Two Young Boys At Wennappuwa
The Wennappuwa Police have detained a 28 year old youth who had been sexually molested two boys of the same family in the ages of eight and nine at Wennappuwa Area(North Western Province).
The suspect is an employer of a Restaurant in Wennappuwa and residing in Thopputhota Area according to the Police.
The suspect has taken the two small boys to his house by stating to show wrestling videos and exposed them to pornographic movies it has been reported.The Children were molested by the suspect continuously for a one month period the Police has stated.
The suspect is due to produce before Marawila District Court .

A Head Of A G.C.E Advanced Level Examination Hall Has Been Sacked Due To Late Attendance
The Examination Department has today(02) sacked a head of the G.C.E Advanced Level Examination Hall number 01 at Henagama Area in Kelaniya(In Western Province) who had failed to appear at the Examination Hall on time.
The students who were at the Examination Hall were given an extra time of one and half hours for the Morning Paper due to this incident according to the Commissioner General Of Examinations W.M.N.J Pushpakumara.
The Examinations Department has launched an investigation regrading the incident .

Airport Customs Officers Have Detained A Sri Lankan Female With 225 Cigarette Cartons In Her Possession At Katunayake Air Port
The Airport Customs Officers have today(02) detained a 40 year old Sri Lankan female who had attempted to transport 225 Cigarette Cartons illegally to the country at the Katunayake .Bandaranaike International Airport.
The stock of Cigarette Cartons was found inside the luggage of suspected female ,who is a resident in Maligawatte Area.
The value of the stock of Cigarettes detained is estimated as Rs.1.5 million.The Customs Officers are conducting further investigations on the incident.
