Foreign Employment Bureau Has Brought Back 72 Sri Lankan Workers From 3 Middle Eastern Countries

The Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau has yesterday(28) brought back 72 Sri Lankan Workers who worked at  three Middle Eastern Countries due to a various kind of harassment they have faced in those countries.

Accordingly 50 Female Workers and 22 Male Workers worked at Saudi Arabia,Kuwait and Qatar were brought back to the country the Foreign Employment Bureau has stated.

These Workers are residents of Galle,Kurungala,Batticloe,Eravur and Polonnaruwa Areas it has been reported.

Foreign Employment Bureau has made arrangements to send these workers to their houses
 safely ,

A Buddhist Priest Was Killed Due To An Accident Occurred While Crossing The Road

Image result for accident graphicA Buddhist Priest attached to the Thripitaka Dharmayatanaya in Palawatta(In Colombo) was killed by a Motor Car Accident occurred on Awissawella-Colombo Main Road in Pannipitiya Area yesterday(28) according to the Police.

The Buddhist Priest was killed after hit by a Motor Car while crossing the road through a level crossing it has been reported.He was succumbed to his injuries upon admission to the Homagama Hospital in critical condition.

The Maharagama Police have arrested the driver of the Car which involved in the accident  and conducting further investigation on the accident.

Sri Lanka Navy Have Arrested 33 Local Fishermen In Northern Seas For Involved In An Illegal Fishing

Sri Lanka Navy Have arrested 33 local fishermen who were involved in an  illegal fishing at Anthonipuram Sea Area in Northern Mannar(In Northern Province) yesterday(27) along with Four  Boats they were in and a stock of sea cucumber in their possession.

The Navy had handed over the arrested fishermen,The four boats and the stock of sea cucumber to the Assistant Fisheries Director's Office in Mannar for a future course of action.

No Plan For A Power Cut At The Moment -Ceylon Electricity Board

The Ceylon Electricity Board has today(28) announced that there is no arrangement for a three hour power cut  earlier scheduled to be implemented from today(28) up to 31st of March.

As enough amount of rain is receiving to the hydro catchment areas at present there is no need for a power cut the Board has stated.

According to the Ceylon Electricity Board there are no plans for a future power cuts at the moment.
