Three Persons Received Minor Injuries Due To A Lorry-Car-Cab Collision Occurred At Southern Expressway
Three Persons were received minor injuries due to a Lorry-Motor Car-Cab collision occurred at 61st Mile Post in Kurundugahahathapma at the Southern Expressway this noon.
The small lorry involved in the collision has veered off the road and the Motor Car and the Cab too collided each other it has been reported.
Three Persons including the driver of the Small Lorry received minor injuries due to the accident and they were admitted to Alpitiya and Nagoda Hospitals .

Sub Inspector Attached To Chilaw Police Was Killed And A Constable Critically Injured Due To A Motor Cycle Crash
A Sub Inspector attached to Chilaw Police Station was killed and a Police Constable attached to the same Police Station was critically injured as the Motor Cycle they were travelling in veered off the road and crashed in to the lamp post at Aluthgama(In Kaluthara District) Area last night.
The crashed Motor Cycle was ridden by the deceased Sub Inspector who was a 26 year old resident of Kandy.The deceased sub inspector and critically injured constable were on their way with two other Policemen in another Motor Cycle for a raid.
The critically injured Constable is currently receiving Treatment at Chilaw Hospital.
The Traffic Unit of the Chilaw Police are conducting an investigation on the incident.

Sri Lanka Customs Have Arrested A Chinese National At Katunayake Bandaranaike International Air Port With A Stock Of Expensive Walla Patta
Sri Lanka Customs Officers have arrested a Chinese National at Katunayake Bandaranaike International Air Port today(26) with 25 Kilo Grammes of an expensive "Walla Patta" known as Gyrinops Walla in his possession.
The detained Stock Of Walla Patta is estimated as worth Rs.5 Million it has been reported.
The 37 year old Suspect who is possessed Sri Lankan Citizenship was fined Rs.25,000 by Sri Lankan Customs and the stock of Walla Patta was confiscated.
Walla Patta produced a substance called Agarwood which is using to produce expensive perfumes.
The transportation or possession of the wall patta plant which grows in certain parts of the country strictly prohibited.
