Attorney General Informed The Colombo Magistrate Court That Cases Will Be Filed Against 13 LTTE Suspects In Magazine Prison

The Attorney General has today(11) informed the Colombo Magistrate Court that cases will be filed against 13 LTTE Terrorist Suspects in Magazine Prison-Borella(In Colombo) who have been on  hunger strike since last month demanding to file cases against them or release them.

The Government Lawyer has informed the Colombo Magistrate Court after the 13 LTTE Suspects were produced before the Court today that the charges against them are serious and therefore there's no room for either release them or grant bail.

After taking consideration these facts   the Colombo Additional Magistrate Aruni Atygalle has ordered the Police to remand 13 LTTE Suspects until 23rd of March.

A new Express Train Service  will be established  in City Of Colombo soon to ease the heavy traffic congestion which prevailing in the City at present according to Minister Of Mega Police Patali Champika Ranawake.

Sixty Four Indian Fishermen Were Arrested During First Two Months Of This Year

Image result for arrested in wordDuring first two months of this year Sri Lanka Navy and Coastal Guard Officers have arrested 64 Indian Fishermen who were illegally fishing in Sri Lankan Waters according to Minister Of Fisheries And Aquatic Resources Mahinda Amaraweera.

Around 84 Indian Fishing Boats have been taken in to custody during that period by the laocal authorities the Minister has stated.

Meanwhile Indian Authorities have also arrested 09 Sri Lankan Fishermen who were illegally fishing in Indian Waters during first two months of this year along with 12 Boats he has further added.

The Inspector General Of Police(IGP) N.K Ilangkoon has handed over the investigation on Burnt Bodies which were found inside of a burned out van at Dankotuwa this morning to Criminal Investigations Department(CID).

Dankotuwa Police Officers had found the burned out vehicle with burnt bodies  this morning  through an information received via Police Emergency Hotline Service.
