Two persons were killed due to a Motor
Cycle -Tipper collision occurred in Weliwita, Malabe area.

The Motor Cycle rider and the Pillion rider were killed due to the  accident.

Health Minister Approved A New Method On Issuing Drugs To A Patient According to His/Her DNA Status

Image result for health ministryHealth Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne has approved a  new  method   to implement in local hospitals on issuing drugs for  a disease after checking  the patient's DNA status according to the Ministry Of Health.

This method will be adapted in Sri Lankan hospitals based on a research done by  a team of American Consultants the Health Ministry has stated.

Accordingly the method on issuing drugs to a patient according to his/her DNA status will be firstly implement regarding Cancer patients in Sri Lanka and the Minister has aimed to increase the life expectancy  of  a local Cancer patient  through this method by 84%  according to the Ministry.

Police Arrested A 17 Year Old Brother Over Raping Her 13 Year Old Sister

Chilaw Police have arrested a 17 year old Mason in suspicion of raping his 13 year old sister in Karawitagaraya,Chilaw area.

As per an information provided by the  victim Police have arrested the suspected brother and he is due to be produced before the Chilaw District Court.Chilaw Police are conducting an investigation on the incident.

A 60 Year Old Female Was Burnt To Death After A House She Stayed In Caught Fire

Image result for fireA 60 year old female was burnt to death after the  house she had stayed in on rental basis situated at a village in Deniyaya area (Southern Province) caught fire yesterday(11).

Police have recovered the body of the deceased as per an information received on the incident.

The cause for the fire not yet been revealed according to the Deniyaya Police.
