A University Student Was Arrested Over Flying A Drone

 Sri Lanka Airforce had arrested a 22 year old University student over flying a drone without a permission near the Train station at Bambalapitiya area ( Colombo ) on last Monday night (05).

The University student 

is attached to a,  Private University in Colombo and a resident of Norochchalai area it has been revealed.He was flying the drone to mark the anniverssary of a restuarent in the area the student has revealed  during the questioning .

The team of Airforce personal involved in arresting the student had handed over the student and the drone to the Bambalapitiya Police for further investigations .

Two Persons Dead And Two Others Were Injured Due To Vehicle Collision At Sinhapura,

 Two persons were dead and Two injured due to a Van -Cement tank lorry collision occurred at Sinhapura area in Kithul uthuwa  yesterday (06) it has been reported.

The  deceased were travelling in the Van at the time of the incident and injured drivers of the two vehicles were admitted to Kanthale Hospital according to reports .One of the Injured who is in critical condition had transferred to Trincomalee Hospital for further treatment .The Van was travelling from Colombo To Trincomalee and the Cement tank Lorry was,travelling from Trincomalee to Colombo at the time of the incident .

The Tank Lorry carrying Cement powder was toppled over the road due to the accident and severely damaged as a result according to the sources.

Pre Landslide Warnings Issued For Three Districts To Remain Further

 The pre landslide warnings issued for Badulla ,Galle and Kakutara districts will remain further due to the adverse weather prevails in those districts according to the National Building Research Organization (NBRO).

Accotdingly Landslide warnings issued for passara Divisional secretariet in Badulla district,Nagoda,Neluwa and Elpitiya divisional secretariets in Galle district and Walallawita ,Agalawatte and Bulathsinghala divisional secretariets in Kalutara district NBRO had stated.

People in those,areas should be vigilant over rock fall,Landslides,Earthslips, and soil mound fallings NBRO had announced.,

Nine Injured Due To Bus Collision

 Nine Passangers were injured and hospitalized due to a collision of Two buses at Udukawa area on Akuressa-Weligama main road (Southern Province) today (05) it has been reported.

Accordingly Two of the injured are in critical conditoon Police have stated.The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Bus travelling from Colombo to Akuressa and a Private Bus travelling from Matara to Welipitiya collided with each other according to reports.

Bribary Commission Arrested A Former Police Inspector Over Demanding A Bribe From A SPA

 Bribary Commission officials had arrested a former Police Inspector attached to Sapugaskande Police over demanding Rs.10,000 bribe from a Manager in A SPA at Kadawatha (Colombo) area to get a police assistance to run the institution without an interruption .

The alleged former  Police inspector has

demanded the bribe from the SPA manager to get an approval from the Police Inspector in Ksdawatha Poice to  run the institute it has been revealed.

The suapect is on compulsory leave over avoiding reporting to duty, with effect from 21st of April.
