Nine Passangers were injured and hospitalized due to a collision of Two buses at Udukawa area on Akuressa-Weligama main road (Southern Province) today (05) it has been reported.
Accordingly Two of the injured are in critical conditoon Police have stated.The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Bus travelling from Colombo to Akuressa and a Private Bus travelling from Matara to Welipitiya collided with each other according to reports.

The Prices of Litro Gas Cylinders had been reduced by Rs.452,Rs.181 and Rs.83 respectively with effect from Midnight tonight (04) according to The Litro Gas Company .
Accordingly the price of 12.5 Kg Litro Gas Cylinder to be reduced by Rs.452 to Rs.3186 ,The price of 5 KG Gas cylinder will be reduced by Rs.181 to Rs.1281 and the price of 2.3 KG Gas Cylinder will be reduced by Rs.83 to Rs.598 it has been announced.

Fuel shortage and Queues in front of Fuel srations had seen in last few days as,a result of not placing fuel orders by 121 fuel stations attached to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation( CEYPETCO) during 27 -31st of May according to the Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana wijesekare .
Although every fuel station need to keep 50 percent of the required amount of fuel in their stations those Fuel stations didnt do so during the mentioned period Minister has stated.
Licences of those Fuel stations who had violated the conditions of their contracts will be cancelled in future Minister had further stated.
