The exact amount of School children transport fares going
to reduce cannot be revealed the Union has stated .The Union had
requested all School vans to reduce their fares according to the fuel
price reduction. 
School children transport fares will be reduced due to the reduction of fuel prices according to the All Ceylon School Children Transport Union.
The Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC ) had also reduced the fuel prices similar to the that of Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) the company has announced.
Accordingly the prices of Octane-92,Octane-95 Petrol ,White and Super Diesel had been slashed.
