Four Persons And Four Bulls Injured Due To Bus-Bullock Cart Collision

 Four persons and four bulls were injured after .the four bullock carts attached to them collided with a Passanger Bus travelling  from Mannar to Puttalam last evening (07) on the river embankment in Thanthirimale area (North central province).

The injured four piligrims who were travelling in the Bullock carts were hospitalized with serious injuries it has been reported.The four bullock carts were carrying piligrims to worship Madu church at the time of the incident it has been reported.

Polive had arrested the Bus driver over reckless driving which caused the incident.

A Person Died After Colliding With A Slow Rr

 A 39 year old person waa killed after colliding with the slow train travelling from Aluthgama area to Polgahawela last morning (07) it has been reported.

The victim had collided with the train whilst attempting to cross over the railway crossing at Thalpitiya ,Wadduwa area it has been reported.The deceased was a resident of Wadduwa area .

A Motor Car Caught Fire Whilst OnThe Way To Dehiwala

 A Motor Car travelling from Galle face to Dehiwala had caught fire and destroyed completely after colliding with a bund which seperates the two lanes of the Galle Road last evening (07).

The Motor car had toppled over the road after the  coliision and the female driver trapped inside had been taken outside unhurt by the resident of the area  it has been reported .Fire trucks belongs to the Colombo Municipal Council had doused the fire before it spreads further .

Police had arrested the female driver and she is due to be produced before the court .

Government To Pay Salaries Of Govt.Employees Next Monday (10)

 Government has decided to pay the salary of Government service employees for the month of April this Monday (10) due to the forthcoming Sinhala/Hindu New year festival .According to the Ministry of Finance the salary of Government service employees for the month of April will be released for their bank accounts on Monday ,

 

Government is due to pay all Pensions and Samurdhi allowances scheduled to be paid for this month on Monday ,

STF Arrested Three Persons Along With A Haul Of Heroin

 The Special Police Task Force Personal (STF) had arrested the main aide of the  leader of an Organized Crimes Gang Ganemulla Sanjeeva, known as  "Vidda" and two others in possession of 24 Grammes and 500 Miligrammes of Heroin in front of Kadawatha Bus Stand yesterday (06) .

They were arrested whilst transporting heroin through a Van it has been reported.STF Personal had also taken into custody another 15 grammes and 300 Mili grammes of Heroin in possession of the van driver .

Ganemulla Sanjeeva is responsible for three previous murders it has been revealed .
