The Public Utilities Commission has given approval to the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) to impose two hours and twenty minutes long daily Power cut for another three days(08-10) the Commission has stated

Accordingly there will be one hour long power cut to be implemented during the day time and One hour and twenty minutes long power cut due to be implemented during night period in twenty zones of the country for the next three days .
Police Special Task Force(STF) personal had arrested a 56 year old person in possession of 475 Grammes of Kerala Cannabis and 30 Gra,mmes of Ice narcotic during a raid carried out in Colombo -12 yesterday (05).

Accordingly the Price of a 12.5 Kilo Gramme LP Gas Cylinder has been reduced to Rs.4280 from Rs.4551.
Litro Gas has also reduced the Price of the 05 Kilo Gramme Gas cylinder by Rs.107 and 2.3 KG Gas Cylinder by Rs.48 ..
