Massive Crowd Arrived In Colombo Stormed In To President's Official Residence

 Massive  crowd arrived from various parts of the country had stormed in to the President' house and Office in Colombo Fort amidst tear gas and water cannons used against them  by Police to capture the President's house building this noon .


Around 55 persons including 04 females had been injured during the clashes with Police near the President's house and admitted to Colombo National hospital for treatment ,The condition of three of them are said to be critical ,

Well organized crowd arrived in Colombo amidst fuel shortage by trains and walked towards the  heavily guarded President's house this noon by pulled out road barricades which had been placed to prevent their entry , to capture President's house building what critics had described as most civilized way to take over the reigns of a government ,However at the time of the incident President was not inside the house and he was taken to a safe place by the security forces last evening    it has been reported .,

Protesters holding national flags and black flags had stormed in to the President's house by breaking the main gate of the premises through a Police truck it has been reported ,Meanwhile owners of the Bowsers used to fire tear gas and water cannons to protesters had later supported the protesters . . 

Protesters had  invaded the President's house demanding t he resignation of President Gotabya Rajapakshe and Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe over the current economic crisis faced by the country.

Trains Will Not Come To Colombo Tomorrow (08)-Railways D

 Trains will not come  to Colombo tomorrow (09) according to the Sri Lanka Railways Department.  The Police curfew imposed in several areas in Western province had caused this situation the Department has stated.





A Massive nation wide protest campaign  is scheduled to be launched tomorrow demanding the resignation of President Gotabaya Rajapakshe ,Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe and the whole government .in views of saving present crisis ,

LIOC To Stop Issuing Fuel For Two Days

 Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC ) has decided to stop issuing fuel for vehicles from tomorrow (09) until 11th of July except for Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) and Industries according to the Managing Director of LIOC Manoj Guptha ,


LIOC will resume distributing fuel to it's Fuel stations from 11th of July he has stressed ,

Navy Arrested 67 Persons Over Attempting To Migrate To Another Country Via Sea

 Navy personal had arrested 67 Persons who had illegally attempted to migrate to a foreign Country through a Multiple fishing boat at Eastern Sea area of Kalmunai District this morning (08).


"Ranarisi " ship belongs to the Sri Lanka Navy had inspected the suspected Multiple Fisheries Boat with a group of persons on board in wee hours of  this morning , Navy personal had arrested 67 persons on board of the boat including 53 males ,08 children and 06 females it has been revealed ,Six of the persons who are smuggling humans to other countries had been arrested by the Police  ,

The group of persons arrested by the Navy had been handed over to the Trincomalee Harbor police for further investigations ,

Police Fired Tear Gas To Disperse University Students Protest March

 Police have today (08) fired tear gas  and water cannons to disperse a Student Protest March organized by Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) when the students had attempted to enter Bank Of Ceylon Road in Colombo Fort ,


Thousands of University students had started this protest march in front of Kelaniya University and when they have attempted to pull out the barricades used to block the access to Bank Of Ceylon road in Colombo Fort ,Police have fired tear gas and used water cannons to disperse them it has been reported ,
