SLFP Had Decided To Support New Premier

 Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP ) Which earlier decided to function as an Independent group now decided to support Prime Minister Ranil Wikramaisnghe to form a new government the Chairman of SLFP Former President Maithripala Sirisena had informed the Prime Minister .



Earlier SLFP had decided not to support the new Prime Minister ,But yesterday (15) had stated it will support the Prime Minster behalf of the country .Accordingly 14 SLFP Members who had withdrawn from the previous government of Ex premier Mahinda Rajapakshe will join the present government .Some of these SLFP MP's will be received Cabinet Portfolios as well it has been reported , 

Around 80 Percent Of Private Buses Not Engaged In Transportation Work -Bus Unions

Around 80 percent of Public Buses were removed from transportation work due to the non availability of fuel according to the Private Bus Unions .

Island Wide Curfew To Be Re Imposed At 8 P,m Tonight (16)

 The Island Wide Curfew that had been lifted last morning is scheduled to be re imposed at 8 p.m tonight (16)( the President's Media Division had announced .


It will be lifted at 5 a.m tomorrow (17) morning the Division has announced ,Yesterday (15) Curfew was not imposed due to the Vesak Poya day .
