Two Persons Died Due To School Van-Three Wheeler Collision

 Two Persons died due to School Van -Three Wheeler collision at Paramaulla area on Giriulla-Alawwa road today (28) according to Police .

Accordingly a 28 and 32 year old persons who were travelling in the Three wheeler at the time of the incident and    resided in Udagankanda area had succumbed to their injuries after admitting to Alawwa District Hospital with serious injuries .

The head on collision between Three wheeler and school van occurred when the three wheeler attempted to overtake a tipper truck it has been revealed .

Cabinet Approved The Train Fare Increase

 Cabinet has approved a proosal to increase train fares after 01 st of April  according to Tranaport Dilum Amunugama .

Accordingly Transport Miniater requested the General Manager of Sri Lanka Railways Department to prepare a report on new price revision of Train fares accordance to the Fuel price revision .

Six Corona Deaths Reported Today (28)

 A total number of 06  Corona deaths had been reported in the Country today (28) Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 16,465 the Director General Of Health Servoces (DGHS).

Accordingly 04 males and 01 female had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated.Out of the deceased 05 were over 60 years of age and 01 was belonged to 30-60 yearage group .

Another 163 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (28)

 Another 163 Corona deaths had been reported today (28) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 661,053 According to Epodemiology Unit.

At the moment 7452  Corona positives are being treated   at Hospitals,Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated.

Rathmalana Internationial Airport Began International Flights

 Rathmalana Air Force base which is being  developed in to an International Airport recently had begun it's first International flight  today (27) to Maldives . 

This is the first time that an International Flight had been  conducted from Rathmalana Airport  after  54 years it has been reported ,

The Airport was  previously  used  for internal flights and aviation training activities and the whole Airport had been modernized up to the status   of an International Airport Civil aviation authorities have stated ,.
