Another 26 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (07) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 15,621 according to Director General of Health services (DGHS).
Accordingly 17 males and 09 females had died due to Corona infection DGHS has stated.Out of the deceased 18 were over 60 years of age and 06 were belonged to 30-60 year age group .Two of the deceased were under 30 yeara of age .
Although there was no power cut today (06)the situation might have changed tomorrow (07) depending on the demand of electricity according to Ceylon Electricity Board .
There may be an island wide power cuts from tomorrow as the quantity of Diesel available at the Board to produce electricity is not sufficient and the water levels of the reservoirs in hydrocatchment areas are dropping continuously the Electricity Board has announced .
