16 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (01)

 Another 16 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (01) Increasing the total number of Corona deaths  reported so fat to 14,995 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 11 males and 05 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of the deceased 14 were over 60 years of age and 02 were belonged to 30-60 year age group .

351 Corona Positives Reported Today (01) With The Presence Of Omicron Variant

With the presence of Omicron variant Health authorities had today (01) reported 351 Corona cases. With this number the total number of Corona Positives reported so far had risen to 587,596 .

According to the Epidemiology Unit . At the moment 11.874 Corona Positives are being treated at Quarantine Centers ,Hospitals and under home care system the Unit has stated ,

Only 5940 PCR Tests and 2598 Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed in the Country yesterday (31) according to the health authorities ,

Another 41 Omicron Positives Had Been Identified Today (31)

 A total of 41 Corona positives infected with Omicron variant had been identified through the samples received from several areas the Head of the Allergy Immunology and cell biology unit of the Jayawardenapura University Dr.Chandima Jeewandara has stated ,

With these Omicron positives the total number of Omicron positives reported so far in the country had risen to 45 Dr.Jeewandara has stated . 

All these Omicron positives had been identified through the Genome sequence tests Dr .Jeewandara has stated . 

Meanwhile with the 03 Omicron positives identified at Medical Research Institute  Colombo recently the total number of   Omicron  positives  in the country had risen to 48 according to Health Authorities .

499 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (31)

 A Total number of 499 Corona Positives had been reported today (31) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 587,245 according to Epidemiology Unit .

Accordingly 11.772 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated .

With the spread of Omicron variant the  number of daily Corona cases reported from other countries are r increasing rapidly  ,But here the real situation is not yet been revealed by the health .authorities 

17 Corona Deaths Were Reported Today (31)

 Another 17 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (31) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 14,979 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 11 males and 06 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated ,Out of the deceased 13 were over 60 years of age and 04 were belong to 30-60 year age group it has been revealed .

Many seems to be not believing  these statistics as daily a similar number of Corona deaths and Corona positives are being reported .by the authorities .
