Registrar Of Pesticides Had Cancelled The Gazette Notification On Banning Glyphosate Contained Pesticides

 The Registrar Of Pesticides had today (22) issued a new Gazette notification cancelling the earlier Gazette Notification issued for few areas banning the use of  05 Pesticides and Agri Chemicals containing Glyphosate .

Meanwhile Minister of Agriculture Mahindanada Aluthgamage had advised the Ministry secretary to call an explanation from Registrar Of Pesticides over cancelling the earlier Gazette notification .

735 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (22)

 A Total of 735 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (22) ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 557,361 according to Epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 16,093 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under Home care system the Unit has stated .

31 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (22)

 Another 31 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (22) Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 14,158 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 21 males and 10 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has announced ,Out of the deceased 23 were over 60 years of age and 07 were belonged to 30-60 age group it has been revealed .One of the deceased was under 30 years old .

A female Had Washed Away By Sea Waves At Marawila Area

 A 46 year old Female had died after being washed away by sea waves whilst trampling the waves with his 15 year old son  at the sea coastal area in Mudukatuwa ,Marawila this noon (21).

Both Mother and son had been washed away due to sea waves ,However Residents in the area had managed to save the son of the deceased it has been reported ,The incident has  happened after the Deceased female had visited her daughter resided in Marawila area along with her son ,The deceased was a resident of Battaramulla .(Colombo).
