A Total of 693 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (10),Increasing the total number of Corona Positives that had been reported so far to 547,346 according to Epidemiology Unit .
Accordingly 10,921 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under Home care system the Unit has stated .
Only 5037 PCR Tests and 2962 Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed in the country yesterday (09).
Another 16 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (10) ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 13,908 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .
Accordingly 08 males and 08 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has stated ,Out of the deceased 14 were over 60 years of age and 02 were belonged to 30-60 year age group
Over 28,000 persons are being affected and around 15 persons had died due to the Floods ,Landslides ,Storms and winds occurred at the 17 districts in the island caused by Heavy showers prevailing in the island at present according to the Disaster Management Center.
The most affected area is Mannar District where little more than 12,500 persons are being displaced due to t he natural disasters ,
