Ship Carrying Rejected Chinese Fertilizer Had Anchored At Beruwala Sea Coast

 The Ship "Hippo Spirit " carrying  20,000 metric tones of  rejected Chinese Organic Fertilizer containing harmful Bacteria had anchored at the Beruwala sea coast in  Kalutara District (Western Province) it has been reported today (07) .

The Ship carrying the stock of Organic Fertilizer sent by the Qingdao Seawin Biotech Group Company Limited to Colombo .The ship can arrive at Colombo Harbor anytime to get supplies but will not allow to unload the rejected fertilizer the Harbor authorities had stated.

15 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (07)

A total of 15 Corona deaths had been reported in the Country today (07),Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 13,856 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 08 males and 07 females had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has announced. Out of the deceased 12 were over 60 years of age and 03 belonged to the 30 -60 year age group it has been revealed ,  

626 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today(07)

 Another 626 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (07) ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 545,256 according to Epidemiology Unit ,

Accordingly 16,217 Corona positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under Home care system the Unit has stated ,

 The Annual Budget for 2022 are  scheduled to be presented to the Parliament by Minister of Finance Basil Rajapakshe  next Friday (12 ).
