Annual Budget To Be Presented To The Parliament Next Friday (12)

 The Annual Budget for 2022 are  scheduled to be presented to the Parliament by Minister of Finance Basil Rajapakshe  next Friday (12 ).

This year's Budget proposals are the 76 th in Sri Lanka's history and 02nd of the present government according to the Ministry Of Finance ,

Another 20 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Yesterday (06)

 A total of 20 Corona deaths had been reported in the country yesterday (06) ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 13,841 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS).

Accordingly 10 males and 10 females had yesterday died due to Corona infection the DGHS Has announced. Out of the deceased 14 were over 60 years of age and 06 were belonged to the age group 30-60 years .

617 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (06)

 Another 617 Corona Positives had been reported in the country yesterday (06) increasing the total number of Corona Positives reported so far to 544,630 according to Epidemiology Unit .

At the moment 15,877 Corona Positives are being treated at Hospitals ,Quarantine Centers and under home care system the Unit has stated ,

Swiss Airways Began Direct Flights From Zurich To Katunayake

Swiss International Airways had began direct flights between Zurich ,Switzerland to Katunayake ,Sri Lanka from today (05).

The first flight of the Airlines carrying 96 passengers had arrived in Katunayake International Airport this morning (05) .The Airlines will operate a flight once a week from Zurich to Katunayake ,Colombo on every Friday it has been announced .

Corona Among Children Is On The Increase

 The number of Corona Positive Children reported in the Country is on the increase according to the Health Authoriries .Accordingly those children  who are getting admitted to Lady Ridgway hospital in Colombo  and other hospitals with Corona symptoms are increasing the Authorities had stated .

Meanwhile 51 person's including 11 under five year old children at a Children's home in Bandaeawela area had been tested positive for Corona virus thhrough the Rapid Antigen. Tests performed on them it has been reported .Among those tested positive for Corona virus were 06 workers at the Children's home according to reports
