The Tallest Actress In Sinhala Cinema Visaka Siriwardane Had Been Passed Away

 The tallest Actress of the Sinhala Cinema Veteran and Popular Cinema /Tele Drama Actress Visaka Siriwardane had died yesterday (23) at the age of 64 whilst receiving treatment at Kurunagala Teaching Hospital .

She had died whilst receiving treatment for Cancer it has been announced .The late actress had made her debut from "Sraranga " Film screened in 1981 and  acted in more than 30 Sinhala Films and after wards Tele Drams it has been reported She has acted in films such as Anuradha,Sasar Suraduthiyo, Randamwel, Sandamadala, and Suraduthiyo films .

She had received  the Sarasaviya Film  Award for upcoming  Actress in 1985 and the OCIC Award for Best Actress  in 1986.

Another 555 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (24)

 A Total of 555 Corona positives had been reported in the Country today (24) ,Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 536,084 according to Epidemiology Unit .

Another 19.085 Corona Positives are being treated at Government/Private Hospitals /Quarantine Centers and Under Home care system the Unit ha stated . 

A total of 5911 PCR Tests and 3100 Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed in the Country Yesterday (23) it has been reported ,

 Another 18 Corona deaths had been reported in the country today (24) ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 13,611 according to Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) .

Accordingly 10 Males and 08 females had died due to the Corona infection the DGHS has stated .Out of t he deceased 12 were over 60 years of age and 05 were belonged to 30 -60 year age group the DGSH has stated .One of the deceased was under 30 years old it has been revealed .

Another 350 Corona Positives Had Been Recovered And Discharged Today (23)

 Another 350 Corona Positives had been recovered and discharged from Hospitals today (23)according to the Epidemiology Unit .

Accordingly the total number of Corona Positives that had been recovered and discharged from hospitals so far had risen to 503,090 the Unit has stated .

New Health Guidelines Had Been Issued To Religious Places

 The Director General Of Health Services (DGHS) Dr .Asela Gunawardane had issued health guidelines for Religious Places throughout the island including Temples and Churches given permission  to hold Religious observances with the participation of  maximum  50 devotees .

Accordingly the heads of the Religious Places are responsible for conducting Religious observances  by adhering to  health guidelines the DGHS has announced .

DGHS had also announced that only Weddings are being allowed to organize under current circumstances and holding of other parties and functions  are strictly prohibited .
