Government To Decide Whether To Increase The Prices Of Milk Powder ,Cement ,Gas And Wheat Flour Tomorrow (27),

 Government is scheduled to decide whether to increase the Prices of Milk Powder ,Cement , Gas and Wheat Flour as requested by the importers  ,During tomorrow's  (27) Cabinet meeting 

Accordingly the Consumer Affairs Authority has already given approval to Increase the price of aa Kilo Gramme of Milk Powder by Rs.200. The price of Cement By Rs.50 ,The price of Domestic Gas Cylinder by Rs.550 ,and the price of a  one kilo of Wheat flour by Rs.10 it has been revealed ,

The Cost of Living Committee which met last Friday had prepared a report on the Consumer Affairs authority's recommendations over the increasing prices of above goods The report of the Committee is due to be presented to the Cabinet meeting scheduled to be  held tomorrow .

71 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Today (26)

 A total of 71 Corona deaths had been reported today (26) in the island .Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 12,751  according to the Director General Of Health Services (DGHS )

.Accordingly 39 females and 32 males had died due to Corona infection the DGHS has announced .Out of the deceased 56 Corona positives were over 60 years pf age and 14 were belonged to the 30-60 year age group it has been revealed ,One of the deceased was under 30 years old ,

1074 Corona Positives Reported Today (26) -9997 "PCR " Tests Performed In The Country Yesterday (25)

 Another 1074 Corona Positives has been reported in the country today (26) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 513,609 according to Epidemiology Unit ,

At the m moment 46,387 Corona positives are being treated at Government /Private hospitals /Quarantine Centers and under Home care system the Unit has stated .

9997 "PCR " Tests and 3633 "Rapid Antigen Tests had been performed in the country yesterday (25) it has been revealed .
