47 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Yesterday (20)

 Another 47 Corona Deaths had been reported yesterday (20) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 2581 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .


Accordingly 27 Males and 20 females had died due to the Covid Pneumonia and complications occurred as a result of non communicable diseases they have  suffered from due to Corona infection the Center had stated .

Travel Restrictions To Be Lifted From.4 A M Tomorrow (21)-New Guidelines Has Been Introduced To Follow

 Government has decided to lift the ongoing islandwide travel restrictions from 4 a m tomorrow morning (21) and introduced strict laws to enforce after lifting the restrictions .


Accordingly only two persons in a household are being allowed to go outside for an essential need and caffes ,restuarants and shops .cinema halls ,museums and libraries will be closed .

However super markets can allow consumers Upto 25 percent of their capacity it has been revealed .

Many of these restrictions will be applied to western province .

Meanwhile postal services are scheduled to be begin tomorrow and train services too will be operated limited number of journeys from.tomorruwcfor those who are engaged in essential services .

1082 Persons Had Bern Arrested Last Friday (18)

 Police had arrested 1082 Persons islandwide on last Friday (18) over violating quarantine laws according to the Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana. 




Most of these arrests were made at Matale ,Kamdy and Kuliyapitiya areas he has stated .

Another 15 Corona Positives Found From Dematagoda Area Where Delta Variant Is Present

 Another 15 Corona positives had been identified in Dematagoda area last Friday (18) through 129 "PCR "tests carried out of them by the Department of Health in Colombo Municipal Council .The samples of these positives had been sent to Jayawardanapura  University to identify whether they are infected with the Indian Corona virus variant "Delta " it has been revealed .


Meanwhile Authorities had vaccinated the people living in Aramaya road in Dematagoda where five persons Infected with Delta variant had found last week with Anti Corona vaccines .

54 Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Yesterday (19)

 Another 54 Corona deaths had been reported yesterday (19) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 2534 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 31 Males and 23 females had died due to Covid Pneumonia and complications  occurred as a result of non communicable diseases they have suffered from.due to the Corona infection it has been revealed.
