A Prison inmate attached to Bussa Prison in Galle District who had tested positive for Corona virus had escaped from a Bus whilst Transporting him to an intermediate Treatment center yesterday (25) it has been reported .
The Prison authorities have lol synched a search operation to find the escaped prison inmate .
A total of 28 Corona deaths had been reported today (25),Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 1269 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 19 out of the 33 deceased person's were males and there were 14 females among those died the Center has stated .
Many of the deceased were residents of outstation areas and there were resident of Borella ,Dematagoda ,Colombo -13 and Colombo -02 in the Colombo district .
A total of 1612 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged from hospitals yesterday (23) according to the Epidemeology Unit .
Accordingly the total number of Corona positives discharged from hospitals after full recovery had risen to 128,607 the Unit has stated .
A total of 32. corona deaths had been reported in the country yesterday (23) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 1210 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .
Accordingly 18 females and 14 Males resided at Mostly in outstation areas and Maharagama and Nugegoda in Colombo district had died due to Covid Pneumonia and complications of non communicable diseases suffered. By them as a result of Corona infection the Center. Has stated .
The deceased were 28 -91 years old it has been reported.
