Little More Than 5000 Corona Positives Had Been Reported During Last Two Days

Another 2573 Corona positives had been reported yesterday (10) and 2530 Corona Positives had been reported today (11) in the country ,Increasing the total number of Positives reported so far in the country so far to 131,098 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 23,607 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and quarantine centers at present the Center has stated.

Another 16 Areas In 05 Districts Had Been Isolated

Health Authorities had isolated 16 Grama Niladari Sewa Divisions (Rural Development Officer Areas ) in 05 Districts since this morning (10) due to the surge of Corona Infections .

Accordingly 16 Grama Niladari Sewa Divisions bonging to 08 Police divisions in Gampaha ,Kalutara Ampara ,Ratnapura and Momaragala districts are being isolated with immediate effect .

Sri Lanka Began Vaccinating Public With Chinese Anti Corona Vaccine

Sri Lanka had began vaccinating public in Western province with Chinese Anti Corona vaccine -Sinopharm on last Saturday (08) after World Health Organization. (WHO) had approved the vaccine to use in an emergency situations .

Accordingly the Sinopharm vaccine donated by Chinese government had been injected to public in Panadura ,Horana and Colombo City limits during last two days .

China has donated 500,000 Sinopharm vaccine doses to Sri Lanka recently mainly to inject Chinese nationals in Sri Lanka .

WHO had approved the vaccine last Friday to be used in an emergency situations .

15 Corona Deaths Were Reported Yesterday (09)

Another 15 Corona deaths had bern reported yesterday (09) increasing the total number of Corona deaths to 801 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 10 females and 05 males resided in many. Areas including Colombo -07,Ragama,Babdaragama ,Kuliyapitiya ,Bibile, areas has died due to Covid pneumonia and complications of the non communicable diseases suffered by them Center has stated .

The deceased were of the ages 46-86 years it has been revealed .

2659 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (09)

A total of 2659 Corona Positives had been reported yesterday (09) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far in the country to 125,906 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .
