Burials Will Be Allowed For Corona Deaths In The Country -Prime Minister Has Stated

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapskshe has stated yesterday (10) in parliament that Burials of those who are dying with Corona infection will be allowed it has been reported .

Prime Minister Rajapskshe has stated this in response to the Question raised by Opposition MP Matikkar .However there's no official confirmation by the government regarding the statement made by Prime Minister .

At the moment Sri Lanka is only allowing cremation for those who are dying from Corona infection .

Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi as well as President Gotabaya Rajapskshe had also stated recently only cremation will be allowed for Corona deaths in the country.

591 Corona Positives Were Discharged From Hospitals Yesterday (10)After Full Recovery

Another 591 Corona Positives were recovered and discharged from. Government Hospitals and Treatment centers yesterday (10) according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives discharged from the Hospital sfter full recovery had increased to 65,644 .

Five Corona Deaths Had Been Reported Yesterday (10)

Another 05 Corona deaths had been reported yesterday (10)in the country ,increasing the total number of Corona deaths in the country to 375 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 03 Males and 02 Females resided in Colombo -05,Wattala ,Aluthgama ,Gampaha and Wellampitiya areas had died due to the Covid -Pneumonia and complications of the Non communicable diseases they have suffered from caused by Corona infection the Center has stated .

The deceased were of the ages 73,51,67,75 and 61 years old it had been revealed .
