521 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (06)

A total of 521 Corona Positives had been reported in the country today (06)i increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 46,248 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly all these Corona positives were contacts of the previous Corona positives reported from Minuwangoda ,Paliyagoda and Prisons Corona Clusters the center has stated .Upto now the total number of Corona positives reported from the three clusters is 42,498 the center has stated

At the moment 7006 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and treatment centers .

Two Corona Deaths Reported Today (06)

Another 02 Corona Deaths had been reported today (06)in the country ,Increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 219 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly a 60 year old male and a 78year old female resided at Dehiwala and Alawwa respectively had died today due to the complications of non communicable diseases they have suffered from caused by Corona infection .

The 60 year old Dehiwala resident has died at IDH Hospital in Angoda and the 78 year old female died at Narammala District hospital whilst receiving treatment .

445 Corona positives had been Recovered And Discharged

Another 445 Corona Positives had been discharged from Hospitals and treatment centers yesterday (06)from hospitals and treatment centers after full recovery .

Accordingly 38,242 Corona positives had been discharged from hospitals and treatment centers so far .

479 Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (05)

A total of 479 Corona Positives had been reported in the Country yesterday (06),Increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 45,726 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly All the Corona Positives reported yesterday were contacts of the previous Corona positives belongs to Minuwangoda ,Paliyagoda and Prisons Corona clusters .Now the number of Corona positives reported from these three clusters had been increased to 41,977 the Center has stated

At the moment 7247 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals and treatment centers .

Two Areas In Kandy District Had Bern Isolated Whilst Lifting Isolation In Akkaraipattu

Two Rural Development Officers areas (Grama Niladari Wasam)In Kandy District had been isolated and the isolation imposed in Nine Rural Development Officers areas in Akkaraipattu Area iof Northern province had been lifted with effect from 5.30 a.m this morning according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly Diwanawatte ,Bamunugama at Pujapitiya Rural development Officers area in Kandy District and Moragala area in Ehaliyagoda Police division had been isolated since this morning .

Two Corona Deaths Reported Yesterday (05)

Two more Corona Deaths had been reported in the country today (05)increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 217according to Health Ministry .

Accordingly two females of the ages 68 and 75 years old resided in Matale and Kalutara areas respectively had died due to the complications of non communicable diseases they were suffering from caused by Corona infection the Ministry has stated .
