A minor Earth Tremor had been occurred at Degana Area in Kandy last morning around 9.28 a.m according to Geology Survey and Minors Bureau .
Accordingly this minor tremor measured as 2.0 at the Richter scale and also indicated at Pallekale Geology Tremor Monitoring Center
Authorities are investigating over the incident .
A prison inmate under quarantine at old Bogambara Prison in Kandy had been killed and three other prison inmates were captured after five prison inmates who were under quarantine had attempted to escape from prison last night (17)according to Department of Prisons .
However one prison inmate under quarantine had been escaped from the prison and authorities had managed to capture him whilst in Kandy city this evening .The prison inmate had been sent to old Bogambara Prison for a compulsory 14 day quarantine it has been revealed .
A group of 377 Corona positives had been discharged from Hospitals today (18)after full recovery according to Epidemeology Unit .
Accordingly the total number of Corona positives discharged from Hospitals after full recovery so far had risen to 12,587 the unit has stated .
