Deputy Director General Of Health Services (Laboratorv Services ,
The Deputy Director General Laboratory. services attached to. Ministry Of Health Dr Ananda Jayalal had been removed from his post with immediate effect by the Health Ministry Secretary Dr .S Munasinghe according to sources .
Deputy Director General of Health Services (Research and Training )Dr.S.K Rathnayake had been appointed to the post to cover the duties until appointing a permanent candidate for the post.
Some Health Trade unions had wrote to President Gotabaya Rajapskshe recently demanding the removal of Dr Ananda Jayalal from the post claiming he is responsible for the collapse of laboratory service in the country during corona pandamic

Two villages at Pannala MOH Area had been isolated today (01)after identifying three. Corona Positives from the area it has been revealed .
Accordingly Hiyawala and Asirigama villages in Pannala atea are being isolated after three workers attached to Pannala pradesheya sabha had been tested positive for Corona virus .
A 40 year person Has Died From Corona Today (01?
A 40 year old Male who had died due to the complications of High blood pressure and Respiratory illness at Chest Hospital in Welisara today. (01)had. Been tested positive for Corona virus after his death according to Epidemeology Unit .
The deceased who was a resident of Mahara ,Kadawatha was admitted to Chest Hospital on 28th of October and through the first "PCR 'test performed on him after admission he had tested negative for the virus it had been revealed.
However he has died todAy and through the second "PCR "Test performed on him the deceased had been tested positive for the virus ,But he has died at that time .
This is the 21st Corona death reported in the country .
