Four Corona Positives had been

reported today (26)increasing the total number Of Corona positives in the country to 3349 according to Epidemeology Unit.

However The identities of the Corona positives identified today has not yet been revealed.

At the moment 150 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals.

Twenty Eight Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From Hospitals Today (26)

A total of 28 Corona positives had been

discharged from Government hospitals this morning (26)after full recovery according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives discharged from hospitals so far had risen to 3186 the unit has stated .
At the moment 146 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals. 

Ten Hour Water Cut To Be Implemented From. Tonight (26) At Four Colombo Divisions Amidst Corona Threat Dengue Spread Amd Rain

 A 10 hour long water cut is scheduled

to be imposed at four Colombo Divisions from 8 a.m tonight  (26) up to 6 a.m tomorrow (27) due to a modifying the distribution pipe line system of the Greater Colombo area according to National Water Supplies And Drainage Board .

Accordingly the 10 hour water cut will be implemented at Colombo -12,13,14 and 15 and during the cut water to Colombo -11 will be under low pressure the Board has stated.

A Russian Aircraft Official Earlier Tested Positive For Corona Virus Now Tested Negative For The Virus -General Shavendra Silva

personal who had tested positive for Corona virus whilst in Sri Lanka from a "PCR "test carried out  at a private hospital in Matara last Wednesday (23) had tested negative for the virus at the "PCR "test carried  out on him at Hambanthota Hospital yesterday (25) according to the head of the Covid -19 prevention task force Army Commander General Shavendra De Silva.

However when the Ruasian official had tested positive from the "PCR "test carried out at a private hospital in Matara other 14 Russian officials with him had tested negative for the virus according to the "PCR "test results of them.

Although two "PCR "tests shown different results the team of Russian Aircraft officials arrived at Sri Lanka from India through Mattala Airport in Mattala on 13 th of September had clearly avoid undergoing 14 day quarantine period at a hotel they have stayed in Polhena, Matara it had been revealed.

Without quarantining themselves they had visited many places in Matara through three wheelers and General Silva too had stated that he was not informed on their arrival to Sri Lanka.

They were not performed "PCR "tests at Mattala Airport either it  had been revealed.

Due to this situation people in Matara were provoked and some parents had removed their children from schools in the morning according to reports.
