Gamini Senerath Had Been Re-Appointed As The Secretary To The Prime Minister Rajapakshe

President Gotabaya Rajapakshe had
today (10) re-appointed the former Secretary of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakshe, Gamini Senerath as Secretary to the Prime Minister Rajapakshe .

Gamini Senerath who is from civil service was the Secretary to the Prime Minister Mahinda  Rajapakshe when he  assumed duties of premiership on 21st of November 2019 soon after President Gotabaya Rajapakshe had sworn in.

Gamini Senerath who was previously held posts of Additional Secretary and Chief of staff when Premier Rajapakshe was the president , had also faced charges  during good governance governmemt on misusing of State funds and had been jailed over the charges. 

Fourteen Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From Hospitals Today (10)

A total of 14 Corona positives had been
discharged from hospitals today  (10)after full recovery according to the Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives discharged from hospitals so far after full recovery had risen to 2593 the unit has stated.

At the moment 266 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals.

All Schools Had Been Re-Opened Today (10)

All grades of Schools islandwide  shut
down since last March due to Corona pandamic opens today  (10)according to the Ministry of Education.

All schools will be opened according to the Corona prevention health guidelines and  classes for the students of Grades 5,10,11,12 and 13 will be held all five days of the week .Other grades classes will be held on selected  days of the week the Ministry has stated.

All the Schools with less then 200 students will hold classes in five days of the week and the classes of  schools with more than 200 students  will be held on selected days according to a plan it has been revealed .

Global Corona Positive Cases Exceeded 20 Million


The total number of Corona positives worldwide had exceeded 20 million today  (10)according to the foreign media .

Accordingly shortwhile ago(7.15 a.m Sri Lankan time ) global corona cases stood at   20,022,265 .

Out of this 5 million corona cases had been reported from United States of America .

Three Corona Positives Had Been Reported Yesterday (09)

Three Corona Positives had been
reported yesterday (09)increasing the total number of Corona positives reported in the country to 2844 according to Epidemeology Unit. 

At the moment 254 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals.
