A total of 03 Corona positives had been

recovered and discharged from hospitals  today  (09)according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives discharged from hospitals  so far  had incerased to 2579 the unit  has stated .

Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe Sworn In As The New Prime Minister

Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe had sworn in  as the Prime Minister for the fourth time before his younger brother President Gotabaya Rajapakshe at Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya  (Temple )this morning (09).

His Cabinet Ministers are scheduled to be sworn in during this week it has been reported   According to the amendments made to the Constitution by the Previous good governance government Cabinet Ministers need to be restricted to 30 or less ,Due to this it is being expected that the new Cabinet of the Government to be limited to 26 members .

According to the new  amendments  to the constitution new Prime Mimister will become  more powerful with executive powers than the president according to analysts.

National Election Commission Has Issued Gazette Notification Containing Names Of Parliament Elects

National Election Commission has

issued the Gazette Notification including the names of elected Parliamentarians from the Parliamentary elections held last Wednesday  (05).

The gazette Notification had been issued last night and includes the names of  196 Parliament elects of all political parties  representing each District.
