A total of 297 Corona positives the
highest number Corona positives ever reported in the country in a single day, has been reported today (10 ) until 10
P.m according to the Epidemeology Unit.
Accordingly the total number of Corona positives reported in the country so far has been increased to 2451 the unit has stated .
Out of these positives 283 had been reported from the Kandakadu Drug Rehabilitation Center where the new Corona cluster has been emerged ,01 Corona positive was a Welikada Prison inmate and 13 arrivals from abroad namely 09 from India, 03 from United Arab Emirates and 01 from Pakistan.
The Corona positive Welikada Prison inmate who was identified today is the second Corona positive identified in that prison and he was admitted to the IDH Hospital it has been reported.
At the moment 460 Corona positives are being treated in Government. Hospitals .
recovered and discharged from hospital today (10) according to the Epidemeology Unit .
