Another 19 Corona Positives Reported Yesterday (27)

A total of 19 Corona positives reported
yesterday (27) ,increasing the total number of Corona positives in the country to 2033 the Epidemeology Unit has stated .

Accordingly All 19 corona positives identified yesterday were Arrivals of Bangladesh it has been reported .

20 Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From Hospitals Yesterday (27 After Full Recovery

A total of 20 Corona positives had been
discharged from Hospitals yesterday (27)after full recovery  ,increasing the total number of Corona positives discharged from Hospitals to 1639  according to the Epidemeology Unit.

At the moment 383 Corona positives are being treated in Government Hospitals.

Central Bank Has Approved A Loan Worth Rs.27.9 Billion With A 06 Month Grace Period For 13.861 Businesses Affected Due To Corona Restrictions

Central Bank of Sri Lanka has recently
approved Rs.27.9 billion worth loan for 13,861 Businesses island wide which are badly affected due to Corona pandemic restrictions for a 4 percent interest rate , with  a 06 month grace period  and 24 month repayment period in view of promoting economic activities in the country Central Bank has announced.

Out of this loan nearly Rs.15 billion worth loans issued to over 7000 business  by 24 th of June through licensed banks  in  the country the  Bank has announced.

The approved loan is being issued under the phase one of the "Saubhagya Covid -19 Renaissance programme "launched by the government it had been revealed .

National. Dengue Control Programme Had Launched A Mosquito Control Programme In Six Districts And MC Area As 75 Percent Of Construction Sites In The Island Identified As Dengue Mosquitoe Breeding Grounds

More than 75 percent of the construction sites located in the island are being identified as Dengue Mosquito Breeding grounds  according to a new survey conducted by the National Dengue Control Programme .

According to the Dengue Control Programme a large number of Dengue mosquitoe larvae found in Water storage tanks ,Concrete slabs and the surface of Concrete foundation where water is collected in construction sites .

As there's a great risk of spreading Dengue fever among workers attached to Construction sites and public around these sites ,Dengue Control Programme had launched a Dengue Control Programme in High risk Zones identified in six districts and A Municipal Council area from 25 th of June until 01 st of July .

Accordingly this Dengue Mosquito Control Programme is being implemented to destroy Dengue Mosquito Breeding Places in costruction sites at high risk zones attached to Colombo ,Gampaha ,Kalutara,Kandy ,Galle and Matara Districts and Colombo Municipal Council area with the participation of Health workers along with tried forces personal and Police.
