48 Corona Positives Reported Yesterday (04)-None From The Community

A total of 48 Corona virus positives had

been reported in the country yesterday (04)until 11 p.m ,increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far  to 1797 according to the Epidemeology Unit.

Out of the 48 Corona positives reported yesterday 42 were Navy personal and 06 were Foreign arrivals the Unit has stated .

At the moment 947 Corona virus positives and 56 suspected cases are being treated in Governmet Hospitals it has been reported .

40 Corona Positives Reported Today (04)-66 Were Reported Yesterday (03)

A total of  40 Corona positives had been

reported today (03)until 4 p.m ,increasing the total number of Corona positives reported in the country to 1789 according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly 939 Corona positives and 56 suspected as Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals at present  it has been reported .

A total of 66 Corona positives had been reported yesterday (03)until 11.55 p.m and majority of them which is 35 were foreign arrivals those who are at quarantine centers  and 31 were Navy personal .

Out of the 35 foreign arrivals tested positive for Corona virus  yestetday (03)19 positives were arrived from Qatar ,14 arrived from Bangladesh and 02 from Kuwait according to reports .

Meanwhile another 03 Corona virus positives had been discharged from hospitals after fully recovered ,increasing the total number of Corona positives discharged from Hospitals so far to 839.

Six Including Three Small Kids Had Been Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Wasp Attack

Six persons including three small children had  been injured and hospitalized due to a wasp attack at a Day care center located in Campion old Tea estate at Bagawanthalawa area

yesterday (03).

The injured had been admitted to the Bagawanthalawa Provincial Hospital and their condition is not critical it has been revealed.

The incident has occurred when the  provoked wasps in the Tea estate had attacked three small children at the Day care center and when a female and two estate workers had tried to save the children from attack Wasps had attacked them also .

A Provincial Journalist Along With Two Others Are Being Self Quarantine After Attending Late Minister Thondaman's Funeral

media provincial  journalist in dimbula,Hatton area who had covered the funeral of late  Minister Arumugam Thondaman, A  person at his home and a driver are being self quarantined for 14 days due to Corona virus symptoms since yesterday (02)according to health circles .

However the provimcial journalist who had shown few Corona virus symptoms including cold had undergone a PCR Test at Dikoya Base Hospital had tested negative for the corona virus it has been revealed .

The provincial journalist had covered the funeral of late Minister Thondaman since the begining till his cremation it has been reported.
