been reported in the Country today (28) until 11.30 p.m ,increasing the total number of Corona positives reported from here to 1530 according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly at the moment  775 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals .

Another Long Hour Water Cut To Be Experienced By People In 06 Colombo Divisions This Saturday

National Water Supplies and Drainage

Board has decided to implement a 18 hour long Water cut in 06 Colombo Divisions from 9 a.m  on this Saturday (30) until 3 a.m on Sunday (31)  due to an essential repair work of  the main water pump between Ambatale Water Refinery and Maligakande area according to the Water Board.

Accordingly this Water cut will be implemented in Colombo -02, 03,,07,,08,09 and 10 divisions and water supply to the Colombo -01 will be supplied with low preassure during the water cut  the Water Board has announced .

34 New Corona Virus Positives Had Been Reported Today (28)-32 Were Returnees From Dubai And Kuwait

A Total of 34 Corona positives had been

reported today (28) until 3.45 p.m ,increasing the total number of Corona positives reported in the country to 1503 according to the Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly out of the 34 Corona positives reported today untill now 17 were returnees from Dubai ,15 were Returnees from Kuwait and 02 Navy personal .

At the moment 748 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals .

Ceylon Workers Congress Had Requested Prime Minister To Give Nominations For Late Arumugam Thondaman 's Son To Contest The Election

Workers Congress (CWC) had requested the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakshe to give nomination to Jeewan Thondaman the Son of the CWC "s late leader Armugam Thondaman to contest the forthcoming Parliamentary elections .

The Political Bureau of the CWC which met after the sudden death of CWC Leader Arunugam Thondaman had decided to forward the name Jeewan Thondaman to Contest the forthcoming Parliamentary Election from Nuwara Eliya district .

Meanwhile Prime Minister Rajapakshe too has been reported as accepted the request made by CWC Political Bureau .
