Police Curfew Imposed In Wattala And Ja-Ela Areas
Police curfew has been imposed in
Wattala and Ja-Ela areas since 10 p.m today (19)until further notice according to the Police Headquarters.
Few Corona Virus positives had been identified from these areas recently and to trace the persons they have been contacted with and prevent spreading the virus through them authorities are planing to impose strict measures in some areas according to sources.
Police Headquarters had imposed a Police curfew in Puttalam, Chilaw and Kochchikade areas since last night and it has been lifted this morning and remanded imposed again at 2 p.m until further notice .

Another 07 Corona Virus Positives Identified Today (19)
Another 07 Corona Virus infected
persons had been identified today (19) escalating the total number of Corona virus positives identified in Sri Lanka to 59 according to the Director General Of Health Services Dr.Anil Jasinghe .
Among those tested positive for Corona virus today are the wife and daughter of the Gem Businessman at Mundama ,Ratnapura who had been contacted the disease after visiting Germany Dr.Jasinghe has stressed .
The Gem Businessman who had stayed in his house at Mount Lavinia in hiding for several days after finking he is a coroma virus positive through a PCR test conducted in a private hospital, Later admitted to Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH) at Angoda with Corona Virus infection symptoms .Earlier he had refused to surrender to the Health Authorities to undergo a 14 day quarantine process .His friend who had accompanied him to Germany had also tested positive for Corona virus earlier .

Around 81 percent who has been tested positive for Corona virus in Sri Lanka are males and 19 percent are females Dr.Jasinghe has stated during a press briefing held at National Action Center For preventing Spreading of Covid -19 (Corona Virus ) at Rajagiriya .
Meanwhile around 243 Corona Virus suspected patients are being treated at 15 Government Hospitals including IDH Hospital by this noon according to Epidemeology Unit .

Dental Doctors To Stop Performing Normal Teatment In Dental Units
Government Dental and Dental
Surgeons Trade Unions have decided to suspend all normal Dental treatments provide by All Dental Units throughout the island including National Dental Institute in Colombo until further notice in view of avoid the spreading of Corona virus in the country .
Accordingly All normal dental treatment facilities avaiable includes removing tooth ,cleaning and nerve fillings will not be performed in dental units until further notice .
Only Emergancy treatment and surgeries will be performed in Dental units .Public are being advised to visit a dental doctor only if an Emergancy treatment needed
