Three Persons Arrested With Hauls Of Heroin And Ice Narcotics

Police have arrested three persons

with  2 Kilo Grammes of Heroin and Ice narcotics in their possession at Dematagoda ,Colombo -09 today (12).

Accordingly police have recovered 1.600 Kilo Grammes of Heroin amd 400 Grammes of Ice narcotic in the possession of the suspects who are residents of Dematagoda ,Keaelwatta  and Thotalanga areas .

A Tractor Driver Injured Due To An Express Train -Tractor Collision

A Tractor Driver had received minor

injuries after his tractor colliding  with an Express Train travelling from Colombo to Kankasanthurai at Thelippaleymavittapuram area in Jaffna  whilst attempting to cross the Rail track in an insecure place today (12).

The Tractor driver had fled away from the scene when the incident occurred and Both the Train engine and the Tractor body had received damages due to the collision .

Kankasantgurai Police are conducting an investigation over the incident.
