STF Personal Arrested Two Persons With Heroin In Hikkaduwa

Special Police Task Force (STF) personal
have yesterday arrested two youth of the ages 21 and 22 years at a Railway crossing in Galduwa Junction ,Hikkaduwa and at Rangalle Bridge in Metiyagoda area whilst transporting 108 Grammes and 22 Grammes of Heroin in Motor Cars .

Accordingly a 21 year old youth who is a resident of Gonapinuwala area had been arrested at Railway crossing in Galduwa Junction whilst trannsporting 108 Grammes of Heroin in a Motor Car and a 22 year old youth who is a resident was arrested whilst transporting  22 Grammes of Heroin in a Motor Car at Rangalla bridge ,Meetiyagoda .

The arrests were made accordance to an information provided by Prison Guide attached to the Main Gate at Agunakolapalessa Prison who was arested recently .

The two suspects are due to be produced before the court .

Fifty Vehicles Parked At Presidents Security Division Car Park Destroyed Due To A Fire

Fifty vehicles parked at the car park of
President's Security Division (PSD) at Mudalige Road in Colombo Fort including fourty seven Motorcycles and a Three wheeler had been destroyed due to a sudden fire occured in the car park last Sunday night (10)it has been reported .

Three Motorcycles belonging to the Police Officers were among those Vehicles that destroyed due to the fire according to reports .

The cause behind the fire has not yet been revealed.

Colombo Fort police have conducted preliminary investigations on the incident and further investigations on the fire had been handed over to the Criminal  Investigations Department  (CID) according to the Police Media Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekare .
