Royal.Park Murderer Jayamaha Left Kuruvita Prison Last Evening After Receiving Presidential Pardon

The Royal Park Murderer Shramantha Jude Anthoney Jayamaha who was on a death row and   had been released on Presidential Pardon yesterday(09) had left Kuruwita prison last evening it has been reported .

Public outcry over the releasing of Jahamaha is being emerged in social media networks and most people accused president over releasing of a rapist murderer in an illegal manner .

However Presidential candidates still not commented on the releasing of a murderer who was responsible for killing a  19 year old Swedish national yvonne Jonnson in 2005 at Royal Park Luxary housing scheme in Rajagiriya .

A Person Was Killed And Another Had Been Injured Due To A Knife And Gun Attack

A person had been killed and another

had been injured and admitted to the Kataragama District hospital due to a knife attack and gun shots fired at them by a group of persons  this evening (10) at  Bogahahandiya in Sellakataragama-Thanamalwila road .

The attackers who fled away from the area  after the attack had been identified ,However police  have not been  able to arrest them  it has been revealed .

The reason behind the incident has not yet been revealed .

Kataragama police are investigating to arrest the suspects .

Beliatta Town And Beliatta-Dikwella Road Had Been Submerged

Many houses,shops and sub roads in

Beliatta -Dikwella road and Beliatta Town at Hambanthota District (Southern Province) had been submerged as a result of the heavy showers prevailed this evening (09)it has been reported .

In some of the submerged roads the  water levels are  around  three feet high according to the reports .

Thirty Youth Arrested With A Stock Of Narcitics At A Facebook Party In Meegoda

Meegoda Police have arrested 30 youth

including 09 females  of the ages 18-27 with a stock of Narcotics in possession at a Facebook Group party held at a Hotel in Meegoda last night (08).

The party was orrganized by a group of youth who got to know each other through the Facebook to mark the 02 nd anniversssry of meeting each other it has been revealed.

All participents who are residents of various parts in the country including Embilipitiya ,Galle ,Anuradhapura and Colombo had  payed Rs.1000 each to attend the party according to reports .

Police have taken in to custody various varities of narcotics including  Ice,Cannabies ,Hashish ,Ice and Ash as well as foreign cigarette sticks in possession of the suspects .

The suspects along with the stock of narcotocs taken in to custody in possession of them  are due to be  produced  before the Homagama Magistrate Court .
